(Ep. 283) #TSRP “All Out Of Badussy”

On episode 283 of #TSRP Spann is alone this week. We don’t have a guest, but we do have a ton of stuff to talk about. We start off today’s episode with some Listener Feedback, before we roll over In The News, where the Harvey Weinstein trial is now in the hands of the jury. The Boy Scouts of America have filed bankruptcy as they have been fighting multiple sex abuse lawsuits. And the Michigan Secretary of State is proposing making election day a holiday for American workers.

Then it’s off to Blue Blazes, where a black man is accused of kidnapping a woman, and forcing her to watch the miniseries Roots, to “educate her about her racism.” An Australian kid who has a form of dwarfism garnered the support of people around the world after a video went viral of him being bullied. But did this kid just finesse the whole damn internet, and is living large on the donations sent his way to send him to Disney World? Snoop Dogg continues with his apology tour, as he’s set to appear on the Red Table Talk show with Jada Pinkett-Smith, Willow Smith, and Adrienne Banfield-Jones. And Erykay Badu’s much anticipated perfume sells out in minutes. Did you get any?

And in Proud To Be An American, we finally got to see Michael Bloomberg perform in a debate against the rest of the Democratic Presidential field, and boy did he have a day! Donald Trump came out with a flurry of commuted and pardoned sentences of scammers and corrupt friends and politicians. Is he simply setting the stage to commute and pardon all of the people whom were indicted, convicted, and jailed as a result of the Mueller probe? Trump is also upset that the intelligence community is warning against more Russian interference into the 2020 Presidential election. So much so that he’s fired his appointed Director of National Intelligence for even briefing Congress on the matter. The Russians are also said to have been trying to assist the Bernie Sanders Campaign, but somehow it’s the Washington Post’s fault?
