(Ep. 353) #TSRP “The Silence Of Our Friends”

The Spann Report is back for the New Year, and we bring it in with two of our favorite people. We’ve got the homie Cook of HIGHly Inappropriate Hosted By Cook Simmons with us, AND our girl Stephanie from The Mocha Minutes Podcast comes through as we catch up with what’s been going on with each other, as well as getting into some of the shenanigans that has been happening around the world the last few weeks. But we get things kicked off with some Listener Feedback, before we hop In The News, where President Joe Biden was met with resistance in Georgia over a speech he planned to give on voting rights in Atlanta. Activist are stating they want a concrete plan, and not another speech, do they have a point, or are they being unreasonable? And what the hell is up with “Democratic” Kyrsten Sinema, and Joe Manchin? The Biden Administration was dealt another blow this past week in their fight to get Americans vaccinated, as the Supreme Court struck down the Biden Mandate that would have forced companies with more than 100 employees to have their workers vaccinated.

We move on to Blue Blazes where rapper and producer Dr. Dre and his now former wife have had their divorce finalized and a settlement agreed to. And broke dudes across the country are in mourning. Comedian Steve Harvey says he probably won’t return to being a stand up comedian because of “cancel culture.” A DoorDash driver took to TikTok to tell the world they ate the food of a customer because they only tipped $4. Trey Songz is in the news for all the wrong reasons recently as well. Does this dude have more rape allegations than top 10 hits? We’ll discuss the latest buzz around the singer tonight.

We move on to F*ck Around And Find Out where now anti-vaxxers are promoting drinking your own urine as a way to treat COVID-19. And mega podcaster Joe Rogan has used his show to promote dangerous erroneous information about COVID-19 and the vaccines used to prevent and treat infections. Let’s watch his reaction to being fact checked, on his own show, in real time about the risk of contracting the heart condition myocarditis from getting vaccinated as opposed to actually contracting COVID.
