We’re back to it here on #TSRP with episode 288, and we kick things off with a few of Spann’s Random Thoughts, right before we dive In The News, as the US unemployment claims jumped up by more that 3 million. The US now leads the world in COVID-19 cases, surpassing China. The Detroit Auto Show has been canceled so that the TCF Center can be converted into a hospital, and the NPR Station in Seattle now refuses to carry Donald Trump’s press briefings live.
Then we’re on to Blue Blazes, where the Mexican government is seeking a crackdown on its border with the United States as more Americans are crossing over into their country during this pandemic. R. Kelly is seeking a release because of Dat Rona. Boosie Badazz, doubles down on earlier comments he made about Zaya Wade, and also receives a warning from Instagram about inappropriate behavior on their platform. And a Florida megachurch pastor has insisted on holding church services amidst this pandemic, will he have to deal with any consequences?
Then it’s Proud To Be An American time, where we find out there is another set of folks who won’t have to look forward to those stimulus checks. The Governors of both Mississippi and Alabama are refusing to implement shelter in place orders despite the Coronavirus spreading across the country. What’s the underlying reason for that? And a man dies after taking Cloroquine in an attempt to stave off a potential COVID-19 infection.
Then as always, we wrap everything up with our Champ of The Week announcement. So let’s get right to it, with the Real Talk, ALL The Time, right here on The Spann Report!!!
